Job Description: This hybrid role is based from the SDC office near Bridgwater, with three days per week in the office. You will provide engineering support across pipework and support manufacturing activities. The role connects design, manufacturing, procurement and construction teams to maintain project progress.
- Provide technical engineering support to package project management teams
- Maintain trackers covering design holds and manufacturing progress
- Manage design changes arising between HO2 and HO3 stages
- Coordinate technical queries and facilitate timely stakeholder responses
- Maintain CEMAR records reflecting technical query progress and resolutions
- Provide engineering input to HO3 manufacturing and delivery requirements
- Support constructability reviews across BNI and BOP piping scopes
- Facilitate technical interfaces between designers, manufacturers and construction teams
- Escalate technical issues requiring timely engineering decisions
- Share lessons learned across interlinked manufacturing and engineering packages
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related discipline
- Experience within pipework manufacturing, construction or engineering environments
- Experience delivering engineering within technically complex, regulated projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and issue resolution capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Meticulous approach to engineering quality, accuracy and professional standards
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial awareness
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with PDMS, Navisworks or equivalent 3D software
- Knowledge of CEMAR, Teamcenter or similar contract management systems
