Job Description
Hinkley Point C is the largest infrastructure project in Europe. Assystem, one of the top three independent nuclear engineering firms in the world, are looking for an experienced Mechanical Planning Engineer to join the integrated planning team on site. This is a permanent role with a genuine long-term future on a project that will run through to the 2030s.
The Role
You'll own integrated scheduling across piping, HVAC and M&E scopes using Primavera P6, working across Nuclear Island, Conventional Island and Balance of Plant. Day to day you'll be developing logic-linked construction and commissioning schedules, monitoring critical path, producing KPI dashboards and interfacing with subcontractors, commissioning teams and client stakeholders.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Proven planning experience on major mechanical, piping or M&E installation projects
- Advanced Primavera P6, you must be able to build and maintain fully logic-linked schedules independently
- Background in nuclear, Oil & Gas, energy or a regulated construction environment
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts and project controls
- Strong understanding of commissioning interfaces and system turnover processes
- Power BI, Synchro or Acumen Fuse experience is advantageous
