In the UK, we play a vital role in landmark projects such as Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, and the development of SMRs, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of nuclear power infrastructure.
This is a full-time, site-based role at Hinkley Point C. We can only consider candidates within commutable distance of Bridgwater or those willing to relocate, with support available to assist the move.
Responsibilities:
- Support commissioning activities for mechanical plant and equipment
- Assist with execution of mechanical testing and functional checks
- Contribute to commissioning procedures and test documentation
- Support fault identification and resolution during testing activities
- Interface with construction, installation, and operations teams
- Assist with system handover evidence and readiness documentation
- Apply strong safety behaviours during all site activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Practical site-based engineering or operational experience
- Logical, methodical approach to problem solving
- Experience in commissioning, testing, and equipment handover
- Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
