Job Description

Our two-year Graduate Programme is designed to accelerate your career — giving you exposure to live projects, expert mentorship, and the chance to make a real impact from day one.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Access to mentors and technical experts — learn directly from industry leaders.
  • Peer-to-peer learning through Graduate Forums — connect, collaborate, and grow together.
  • A tailored upskilling framework — develop both your technical and professional skills.
  • Rotations across industries, customers, and locations — broaden your perspective and experience.

Over the two-year self-directed journey, you’ll gain a unique insight into the nuclear industry. You’ll begin with broad exposure across teams and customers, before progressing into more discipline-focused work that aligns with your ambitions. Expect variety, challenge, and growth — all while contributing to some of the UK’s most significant energy projects.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking graduates (or soon to graduate) with a BEng / MEng in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Power Engineering (or a closely related discipline) who are eager to put theory into practice.

If you:

  • enjoy solving tough technical problems
  • have a sharp eye for detail
  • are curious about how digital design, control systems, and automation shape the future of energy
  • have exposure (or interest) in CAD, BIM, AVEVA or similar tools
  • communicate clearly and work well in teams
  • are motivated to keep learning and grow toward Chartered Engineer status

…then you might be just who we need.

Bonus points if you already have experience or coursework relevant to nuclear, power systems, or industrial control environments.

Additional Information

Eligibility Requirements:

To join our Graduate Scheme, you must be a UK sole national and a UK resident, as this is required for the type of work we do. You’ll also need to be able to obtain a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, with some roles requiring higher levels of clearance. As part of the programme, you should also be willing to relocate or travel within the UK, and we’ll provide relocation support where needed.

After submitting your application, you’ll receive confirmation of next steps. If successful at screening, one of our recruitment team will call you to discuss:

  • Your application and eligibility
  • Your passion for energy transformation
  • Your interest in and knowledge of your chosen discipline

Successful applicants will then be invited to attend an in-person assessment centre at one of our UK offices.

We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and foster all forms of diversity within our company. Bringing together people with different backgrounds and perspectives is essential for creating innovative and impactful solutions. Skills, talent, and the ability to dare are what matter most.
