The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is a site-based role supporting construction delivery within the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) scope of works. You’ll work alongside Construction Delivery Managers, ensuring safe, high-quality installation and progress within your assigned area. Relocation support may be available for those moving closer to Bridgwater.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily construction activities within allocated work packages
- Monitor contractor performance and report on progress and key milestones
- Support the management of quality inspections, testing and handover processes
- Maintain a visible presence on site to uphold safety standards and procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, planning, and quality teams to resolve site issues
- Contribute to planning, risk reviews, and schedule updates
- Ensure all documentation and permits are up to date and compliant
Qualifications:
- HND, NVQ Level 4 or Degree in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in construction coordination, supervision or site engineering
- Good understanding of installation sequencing and work package interfaces
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification (required)
- Familiarity with QA, safety, and permit-to-work systems
- Strong organisational skills and proactive communication on site
- Awareness of CDM regulations and construction safety standards
