Job Description
This role involves implementing and managing security measures to protect against cyber threats, conducting regular security assessments, and responding to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as escalation point for complex incidents and service requests
- Diagnose and resolve issues across endpoints, M365, networking, and business applications
- Build, configure, and support laptops and user devices
- Administer Active Directory and user access
- Support onboarding/offboarding and permissions management
- Contribute to security compliance (e.g. Cyber Essentials, vulnerability remediation)
- Support infrastructure operations
- Assist with large-scale IT projects (office moves, migrations, system deployments)
- Follow and support change control processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
- Identify and implement service improvements and automation opportunities
- On-Call support participation
Qualifications
- Experience in an IT support or systems administration role (ideally 3+ years)
- Proven experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365 services
- Relevant industry certifications (desirable), e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned environments (incident, change, and problem management)
