Department Overview: This team is responsible for informing, co-ordinating and integrating all infrastructure projects within the client site, delivered via a number of Infrastructure delivery programmes.
Position Overview: The Infrastructure Manager post forms part of the Waterfront South (WS) department within the client Directorate and is responsible for supporting the Senior Infrastructure Manager in overseeing delivery of infrastructure projects that sit within the WS Area of Responsibility. The postholder will support the administration of projects through the use of robust governance frameworks, management tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing alignment of the clients Strategic Objectives, helping deliver key outputs in line with Infrastructure Plans and wider delivery programmes.
- Act as the Intelligent Customer for infrastructure projects and works within the Area of Responsibility (AOR), ensuring successful delivery within agreed Performance, Cost & Time (PCT) targets.
- Liaise closely with stakeholders to ensure capability requirements are achieved, while monitoring delivery programmes and ensuring remedial or repair works are completed within agreed or contracted timescales.
- Support the management team with all project requirements, including the development and maintenance of risk and issue registers, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive resolutions.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurately updated, securely managed, appropriately stored, and effectively communicated.
- Undertake additional Waterfront South-related tasks as directed by the line management chain, contributing to the wider success of the team and programme delivery.
