Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the Sizewell C (SZC) Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support.

The project has started construction and when completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years and will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

  • As a Process Architect working on the SZC project, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the team to in the continuous improvement of strategy across the multi-programme and project Digital and IT team which is delivering functional and technical change to the SZC Operational IT Programme.
  • Defining processes and refining existing digital processes and procedures as part of a transformation programme, identifying opportunities to implement efficiencies
  • Work with stakeholders from across the organisation to identify issues and develop solutions for identified business challenges, advocating for and driving the adoption of "best practice"
  • Manage the delivery of the multiple workstreams embedded within programme and projects, working closely with Process Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers
  • Quality assure business architecture deliverables and ways of working across projects and programmes, working closely with the wider team
  • Provide Intelligent Customer Oversight on business change activities on the deliverables of our digital partners and Systems Integrators
  • Manage external business change stakeholders as required and manage their costs alongside the Project Manager aligned to the Business Case
  • Ensure all Digital business cases have strong identification of business benefits and associated KPIs set up for benefits realisation, such as outlining costs, benefits, and return on investment from change efforts
  • Report Business Change performance to the Client Business Change Manager

As a Process Architect, you will have 5 years + of extensive practical experience of managing and delivering the people side of change and provide oversight and assurance to external business change teams embedded in programmes/projects.

  • Knowledge & Skills
  • Management of multiple business change workstreams operating within a multi-million-pound change portfolio, preferably in an IT environment
  • Extensive experience of business process analysis and modelling
  • Good understanding of IT software and infrastructure
  • Experienced in business process reengineering, demonstrating and understanding the drivers for process improvement
  • Familiar with the use of standard techniques to redesign processes
  • Holds Six Sigma Black or Green Belt - Certification
  • Demonstrates a structured approach to analysis and documentation, using recognised tools and techniques
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage people at all levels
  • Effective leadership competencies with excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience in managing business change coordination across multiple programmes
  • Ability to coach and manage more junior resources
  • Member of ACPM or CMI, holding an industry-recognised qualification such as Prosci or APMG Change Management
  • Degree qualified, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in nuclear, energy, construction or manufacturing is desirable
