We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide strategic and operational support to Director-level leadership within a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. At Assystem, we support the delivery of complex infrastructure and energy programmes that contribute to the global transition to low‑carbon energy. This is a pivotal role suited to a highly capable EA who operates as a trusted partner to senior leaders, anticipating needs, enabling effective decision‑making, and ensuring priorities are executed seamlessly. This role enables leadership effectiveness by ensuring Directors can focus on delivering complex programmes, strategic priorities, and organisational performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑level executive support to Directors, managing complex and evolving priorities.
- Oversee strategic diary management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare high‑quality briefings, reports and presentations for senior meetings.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, governance activity, track actions arising from leadership meetings and ensure timely follow‑up.
- Act as a professional liaison between Directors, senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Manage confidential communications and sensitive information with discretion.
- Support planning, projects and cross‑functional initiatives as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational efficiency and ways of working.
- Manage and prioritise email and communications on behalf of Directors where appropriate.
- Act as a gatekeeper for Directors’ time, ensuring focus on strategic priorities.
- Coordinate leadership events, workshops and off‑site meetings where required.
- Arrange complex travel itineraries and logistics where required.
- Occasional UK travel may be required to support leadership meetings or events.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats. Due to the nature of the work, the candidate will be delivering and protecting certain assets; therefore, they must be a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national from a non‑ITAR country.
