This is a key onsite role where you’ll lead and coordinate civil & structural engineering activities within a dynamic Joint Project Team (JPT).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Defining project requirements & preparing technical specifications
- Managing engineering support and detailed design activities
- Reviewing and approving drawings, method statements & risk assessments
- Providing technical supervision of construction/deconstruction works
- Supporting commissioning/decommissioning activities
- Responding to RFIs and technical queries
- Contributing to project optioneering and continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment & Quality standards

You’ll collaborate closely with: Framework Contractors, Design Teams, Client AA(D) & AA(SC)

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- Essential: Experience of developing design assurance for complex projects, Experience in civil engineering for complex projects, Experience in stakeholder engagement throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Desirable: Experience in a defence sector, Experience in civil sector, Experience of design delivery within defence projects, Experience in engineering lifecycle management.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- Essential: UK National with SC Clearance, Demonstrable suitable qualifications and experience relating to marine and mechanical engineering, Accredited Degree in an appropriate ‘STEM’ discipline (or equivalent qualification and experience)
- Desirable: Chartered Engineer
