We are currently recruiting for 4 Senior Systems Engineers to support our client on a major Nuclear Defence project in the Reading area to undertake a major systems verification exercise. One of these 4 engineers will be an MBSE specialist.
Your Missions:
- Deliver updated verification strategies across all environments and technical disciplines
- Define claims and arguments to demonstrate compliance with requirements
- Develop evidence roadmaps using integrated trials and modelling across components, subsystems, and systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape strategies, fully logic-linked via Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and aligned with safety processes
- Conduct clause-by-clause analysis of relevant standards to identify required evidence
- Ensure all evidence is traceable, logic linked, and mapped to specific compliance clauses
MBSE Specialist:
- Lead and optimize MBSE model structure and deployment
- Maintain consistency across users & teams
- Create engaging, accessible model visualizations
- Develop and integrate MBSE tools within the wider company framework
- Track and report performance metrics
- Collaborate with business leaders, SMEs & technical experts
Candidate Profile (Skills, Experience & Qualifications):
- 3 years Experience applying systems engineering in a nuclear and/or defence sector
- Demonstrable experience of delivery / ownership within complex projects
- Experience engaging with and eliciting information from both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- HNC/HND or degree qualification in a science or engineering discipline
- MBSE expertise using tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect & IBM DOORS
- Experience in Teamcenter / Product Lifecycle Management (desirable)
- Experience working with government agencies (desirable)
In addition to above the MBSE Specialist is expected to have:
- Programming experience (SQL)
- Database management experience
- A strong proficiency with MBSE tools (Enterprise Architect, etc.)
Security Clearance:
This role requires the successful candidates to hold (or be able to obtain) DV Clearance. Due to the nature of work these roles will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidates have to be sole UK nationals.
