This is a site based role, with candidates considered within commutable distance of Bridgwater or open to supported relocation.

  • Support manufacturing activities across piping and support package delivery
  • Coordinate technical engineering support for project management activities regularly
  • Maintain trackers for support releases, holds and manufacturing progress
  • Manage engineering changes following design handover and manufacturing updates
  • Coordinate Technical Queries and chair stakeholder resolution meetings regularly
  • Ensure contract management systems accurately reflect technical query progress
  • Support constructability reviews during early engineering and design phases
  • Provide technical input supporting handover and commissioning delivery milestones
  • Liaise with engineering, procurement and construction stakeholders daily
  • Support manufacturing leads with technical coordination and delivery activities

Qualifications

  • Nuclear experience is not essential, but is of course welcome. If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us.
  • We also recognise that the perfect candidate rarely exists. If you feel you meet around 80% of the criteria and are motivated to develop further, we would strongly encourage you to apply.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction or related discipline
  • Experience within manufacturing, construction or engineering project environments
  • Understanding of piping systems or support manufacturing activities
  • Experience managing technical queries and engineering change processes
  • Familiarity with stakeholder coordination across complex engineering projects
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and safe engineering delivery practices
  • Experience using CEMAR, Teamcenter or similar management platforms
  • Familiarity with PDMS, Navisworks or equivalent software tools
  • Strong communication and organisational skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Nuclear, power or heavy industry experience would be advantageous
