Are you a Senior Systems Engineer with experience working with mechanical, electrical, and process systems in a highly regulated industry (Nuclear, Aerospace, Defence, etc.)? Assystem’s Defence & Decommissioning Strategic Business Unit is expanding and we are looking for skilled Systems Engineers for our Defence packages of work.
Your missions:
- Requirement specification production / management
- Interface Management
- System Architecture definition
- System Functional and Interface modelling
- Working with mechanical, electrical and process systems
- Operating requirements management database software (DOORS preferential)
- Operating Model Based Systems engineering Software (Capella preferential)
Qualifications/Skills to be successful:
- Experience in complex regulated industry essential (i.e. Nuclear, Aerospace, etc.)
- Experience in Nuclear industry desirable.
- Foundation background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is acceptable.
- Degree in engineering or STEM subject is mandatory or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Systems thinking and systems engineering processes is mandatory.
- Systems engineering training/qualifications desirable.
- Willing to accept a candidate with SE experience and a desire to move into this field if they can demonstrate competence.
- Experience operating Rationale DOORS software as a practitioner is desirable.
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering is desirable.
- Awareness of relevant BS or INCOSE standards desirable.
