Job Description: You will support delivery of electrical support systems across a major nuclear programme. You will review technical documentation ensuring support systems are practical and buildable. You will coordinate engineering activities supporting safe installation and project delivery missions.
- Review supplier drawings and fabricated support system documentation
- Assess brackets, baseplates, SHS sections, and bolted assemblies
- Review anchor arrangements and concrete fixing installation details
- Support cable tray, ladder, containment, and equipment supports
- Identify fabrication, installation, access, and constructability concerns early
- Coordinate technical queries with suppliers and engineering stakeholders
- Support management of non-conforming, blocked, or quarantined supports
- Assist with support trackers, quantities, and procurement information
- Provide engineering input on welded and bolted assemblies
- Support resolution of technical comments and non-conformance issues
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering degree with fabricated support system knowledge
- Experience with anchors, fixings, baseplates, and bolted connections
- Understanding of welded steelwork and fabrication drawing requirements
- Ability to review drawings and identify buildability concerns
- Knowledge of support manufacture, transport, installation, and inspection
- Experience coordinating suppliers, contractors, and engineering stakeholders
- Strong communication skills across multidisciplinary project environments
- Comfortable within documentation review and coordination-focused engineering roles
- Experience within regulated industrial or infrastructure project environments
- Fluent English communication skills supporting project delivery success
