As our Fire Safety Engineer, you will be integral to our safety and fire protection engineering team. You will leverage advanced tools to identify risks and recommend robust fire protection strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of fire dynamics, risk assessment, and proactive fire prevention measures.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze 3D models to identify combustible materials and assess fire risks.
  • Conduct simulation studies using MAGIC software to predict temperature changes during fires.
  • Review and integrate changes from engineering teams to enhance fire safety measures.
  • Recommend fire protection solutions, zoning buildings for optimal safety.
  • Design and implement fire detection and firefighting methods for rapid response.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with MAGIC software.
  • Knowledge of ETCF (EPR technical code for fire).
Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree in Engineering specialised in safety or fire protection technologies.
  • Experience with UK/EU/US Fire Regulations (ideally BS9999 standards).
  • Proficiency in fire protection calculations and tools.
  • Ability to propose effective fire protection and detection solutions.
