The Ventilation Senior Engineer will be directed by the Principal Engineer and will be required to support the design through the end of Preliminary Design and then into Define. The role will involve guiding Designers in the production of detailed drawings, sub‑assemblies, general arrangements (GAs), layout drawings, flow diagrams and parts lists. The Ventilation Senior Engineer may also be required to produce calculations to verify detail design and provide design substantiation. The role will report directly to a Principal Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide Designers in the production and checking of design deliverables.
- Produce and compile technical documentation such as technical specifications, risk assessments, installation methodology documents and O&M manuals.
- Support design activities across multiple work packs that impact ventilation conditions within an Alpha Plant.
- Carry out ventilation assessments to support viable options for improving containment systems.
- Use 3D modelling packages to share design progress during technical and project meetings.
