Job Description
In this role, you’ll ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials and equipment across a highly complex engineering environment. You’ll play a key coordination role across multiple worksites, helping logistics operations run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics activities across project areas
- Act as the main point of contact for worksite logistics requirements
- Provide expert guidance on safe and compliant movement of materials and equipment
- Develop efficient transport routes and movement plans to support project delivery
- Support inventory management, equipment transfers, and on-site workflows
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to keep operations running smoothly
- Prepare clear documentation and communications for logistics planning
- Contribute to progress meetings and provide logistics updates to stakeholders
My profile
- Background in logistics, engineering, operations, or a similar technical field
- Strong organisational and planning skills across complex or multi-site environments
- Experience supervising work on high-hazard industrial sites (nuclear decommissioning experience is a plus)
- Understanding of safety, environmental, and compliance requirements impacting logistics
- Proficiency with scheduling tools, inventory systems, and logistics software
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating across diverse teams
- Strong problem-solving ability to support safe and efficient movement of people and materials
- Experience managing site-based logistics challenges such as access, routing, and scheduling
