This is a site-based role supporting construction delivery within the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC (MEH) scope of works. Youâll work alongside Construction Delivery Managers, ensuring safe, high-quality installation and progress within your assigned area. Relocation support may be available for those moving closer to Bridgwater.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor construction activities ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain detailed site logs and escalate issues through structured reporting processes
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project communication flow
- Support planning, sequencing, and delivery of construction programme milestones
- Conduct site inspections and assurance activities aligned with project performance indicators
- Lead and participate in site briefings, ensuring key messages are effectively delivered
- Organise contractor meetings, capturing outputs and tracking agreed actions
- Identify risks and implement temporary measures to maintain safe progress
- Assist in logistics coordination and collaboration with site-wide logistics teams
Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
SMSTS or IOSH qualification essential for site-based responsibilities.
Experience delivering construction projects within complex infrastructure environments.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and recovery planning.
Ability to produce clear, concise, and informative technical reports.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience in high-security or regulated environments is advantageous.
Nuclear experience beneficial or large-scale civil project background.
