Job Description

Are you ready to make an impact in the world of Nuclear? Join us at Assystem, where your innovative ideas and technical skills will help shape the future. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team within defence infrastructure working across innovative projects.
Your missions:
Contribute to the research and development of mechanical design packages for a variety of clients
Assist in proposal writing and other related bidding activities when required
Produce details of specifications and outline designs
Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
Develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs
Ensure products are reliable and perform consistently in specified operating environments
Use research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, particularly those in mathematical modelling and computer-aided design
Support site construction and commissioning work as required

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
