We can only consider candidates living within a commutable distance, though limited relocation support may be available.You’ll take the lead on fire detection systems within a major nuclear project, ensuring supplier performance, design compliance, and technical integrity from design to delivery.**Responsibilities:*** Resolve technical queries between suppliers and the client* Support the contract lead through design and procurement stages* Follow equipment manufacture, testing, and on-site delivery* Review supplier technical documents and surveillance reports* Manage risks, opportunities, and design change requests* Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces for fire detection systems* Validate and track modifications using dedicated tools **Skills & Qualifications*** Degree in Electrical Engineering* Knowledge of fire detection and protection standards* Experience in instrumentation equipment design or procurement* Strong background in technical document review and supplier follow-up* Familiarity with UK/EU electrical standards* Experience in heavy industries such as nuclear, power, or oil & gas This is your opportunity to help shape the UK’s clean-energy future, working within a team that delivers engineering excellence on globally significant nuclear projects.
