Job Description
The Job Mission
This role is embedded within the HPC Construction Directorate as a Construction Delivery Lead.
You’ll oversee Tier 1 contractor performance and guide Construction Delivery Managers.
Your mission is to lead safe, efficient delivery across complex work areas.
️ Lead and manage Construction Delivery Managers (CDMs) across allocated work areas
️ Ensure full site safety compliance and inspection through regular presence and reporting
️ Drive delivery of planning meetings (PLOW/PLOD) and coordination with Tier 1 partners
️ Lead area construction meetings and issue resolution using the Issues & Action Tracker
️ Support integration of LTQRs and Delivery Work Packs using SWITCH and associated tools
️ Approve WAFs and TACs, coordinating with permit systems and field activities
️ Collaborate with interface stakeholders including JDO, H&S, surveillance, and logistics
️ Escalate risks or variations, supporting contract management with factual reporting
My profile
Essential Skills
Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience in complex project delivery in a live construction environment
Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills
Experience managing site safety and quality assurance compliance
Familiarity with CDM Regulations and permit systems
Able to lead meetings, deliver reports and resolve issues quickly
SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
Confident with digital tools such as Fieldview, QCFC, SWITCH
Desired Skills
️ Experience on nuclear infrastructure or high-security sites
️ Knowledge of Tier 1 contractor mobilisation processes
️ Exposure to end-to-end LTQR lifecycle management
️ Basic French language skills advantageous
️ Familiar with Teamcenter and document surveillance practices
