Overview
Information Analyst for Information Management on a major nuclear power plant project.
The role is part of a cross-disciplinary Digital & IT team, working closely with Project Managers, Information Architects, Data Engineers, and business insight specialists.
The objective is to ensure customer engagement and support within Information Management, translating stakeholder needs into documented information requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support Business Stakeholders in defining information goals (Information Requirements) and ensure the right data is available for Business Users, in the right tools, at the right time.
This includes identifying systems integration requirements, reporting development needs, and information data model creation needs.
- Create, analyze, and validate Information Flows and assess potential issues and risks (e. g., data quality issues, information sensitivity).
- Collaborate with the Business Architect to transform collected Business Requirements into Information Requirements, raising potential information gaps.
Work with Project teams and business stakeholders to validate information requirements and resolve complex business challenges.
- Work with Information Architects as part of the wider Information Management team to share documentation, collaborate, and disseminate knowledge across projects and industry learnings.
- Manage an assigned portfolio of work across multiple projects, synchronizing project activities to ensure Information Analyst deliverables are completed on time.
- Act as a bridge between Business Stakeholders and the Digital organization, guiding the Business to the relevant Information Management services required.
- Support the development of project Information Management tools, processes, and procedures.
- Support the development of communication and guidance material to build knowledge and understanding of Information Management across the project.
