The Job Mission
You will perform detailed pipe stress analysis for high-integrity piping systems across complex nuclear projects. You will provide specialist engineering input covering flexibility, thermal, seismic and equipment loading assessments.
- Perform detailed pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II software
- Assess flexibility, thermal expansion, vibration and seismic loading
- Evaluate pipe supports, restraints and spring hanger requirements
- Apply ASME, EN, RCC-M and project-specific design requirements
- Assess piping loads transferred onto connected mechanical equipment
- Produce clear stress reports, calculation notes and technical justifications
- Review piping layouts, isometrics and 3D models for stress requirements
- Coordinate technical interfaces with piping, process and structural teams
- Support design reviews, risk assessments and nuclear quality requirements
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams
