Job Description

  • You will supervise piping construction activities across a major nuclear new-build programme.
  • You will lead multidisciplinary installation teams delivering complex piping system missions.
  • You will ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality execution throughout construction delivery.
  • Lead pipefitters, welders, riggers, and construction trades onsite.
  • Supervise large bore stainless steel piping installation activities.
  • Coordinate work packs, permits, and daily task briefings.
  • Review isometrics, P&IDs, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Promote nuclear safety culture and site procedural compliance.
  • Manage hydrotest preparation, execution, and documentation activities.
  • Coordinate testing, flushing, drying, and reinstatement operations.
  • Liaise with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams.
  • Monitor productivity, progress, and milestone delivery performance.
  • Maintain inspection records, testing data, and construction documentation.

My profile

  • Mechanical Engineering degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Proven experience supervising piping activities on power generation projects.
  • Extensive large bore stainless steel pipework installation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of high-pressure piping systems and operations.
  • Experience overseeing pipe supports and mechanical installation activities.
  • Ability to interpret isometrics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
  • Experience supervising multidisciplinary construction and subcontractor teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE, quality, and construction compliance requirements.
  • CSCS Supervisor Card and recognised safety qualification required.
  • Fluent English communication and stakeholder management skills.
