You will lead and coordinate complex I&C commissioning scopes across multiple integrated nuclear plant systems. Working within your future team, you will oversee commissioning delivery through testing, integration, and operational readiness phases.
- Lead I&C commissioning activities across multiple nuclear plant commissioning scopes
- Plan commissioning sequences supporting energisation, handover, and startup programme milestones
- Oversee loop checks, functional testing, and integrated system commissioning activities
- Review commissioning procedures, vendor documentation, and nuclear compliance requirements thoroughly
- Coordinate closely with construction, operations, mechanical, and electrical project teams
- Ensure commissioning activities comply with nuclear safety and regulatory expectations
- Support commissioning activities involving DCS, PLC, SIS, and field instrumentation systems
- Lead technical fault finding, issue resolution, and commissioning risk management activities
- Provide clear reporting on commissioning progress, readiness, risks, and project constraints
- Manage commissioning documentation, punch lists, and final system handover activities
Degree qualified within Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Systems, or related engineering discipline. Extensive commissioning experience across complex regulated industrial or nuclear infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SIS, and field instrumentation commissioning activities. Previous experience working within nuclear or highly regulated operational environments preferred. Proven leadership experience managing multi-scope I&C commissioning teams successfully. Strong understanding of commissioning procedures, compliance standards, and testing methodologies. Knowledge of permit-to-work, LOTO, configuration control, and change management processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary delivery teams. Experience supporting fault finding, integrated testing, and operational readiness activities. Ability to manage commissioning priorities across multiple concurrent project workstreams.
