Group Health & Safety Manager
Salary: £75,000 + £7,000 Car Allowance + Benefits

Recent acquisition activity and continued organisational growth have created a new opportunity for a Group Health & Safety Manager within a alrge and expanding UK logistics group. Assured Safety Recruitment are supporting the organisation as it strengthens its operational structure and introduces enhanced Health & Safety leadership across a multisite network.
This newlyestablished role will lead a small fieldbased team and provide strategic oversight of Health & Safety standards, systems and compliance across transport, warehousing and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional Health & Safety advice and guidance to stakeholders across all operational areas.
- Develop and implement groupwide strategies to reduce risk and support continuous improvement.
- Lead the reporting, analysis and presentation of H&S metrics and management information.
- Support operational change and development through structured safety planning.
- Review, update and embed company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct multisite inspections, audits and compliance assessments.
- Lead training needs analysis and deliver appropriate safety training interventions.
- Promote a consistent approach to hazard identification and reporting.
- Provide direction for the ongoing development of management systems.
- Support line managers with incident and accident investigations, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
About You
- Experience within logistics, retail distribution, warehousing, FMCG or manufacturing.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or close to completion).
- Proven background in a multisite Health & Safety leadership role.
- Strong capability in developing and delivering H&S strategy.
- Previous team leadership experience beneficial.
- Willingness to travel across sites within a daily commutable radius of Sheffield.
- Demonstrable experience improving standards and maintaining compliance.
