Role Description

This is a full-time Area Support Valeter role based in Peterborough with a hybrid working arrangement, where some tasks and coordination may be completed from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing high-quality valeting services across multiple sites, ensuring vehicles are cleaned and prepared to agreed standards, and supporting local teams with peak workloads or cover requirements. The role involves traveling between sites as needed, checking job quality, maintaining equipment and materials, and following health and safety and company procedures. The Area Support Valeter will communicate with site managers and colleagues to plan workloads, resolve issues, and deliver consistent, customer-focused service. Accurate record-keeping, time management, and flexibility to respond to operational needs are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle valeting or automotive preparation, with strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.




• Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan routes, manage workloads, and work across multiple sites.




• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with site managers, colleagues, and customers.




• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between locations in and around Peterborough.




• Understanding of health and safety practices, safe use of cleaning products and equipment, and adherence to company procedures.




• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to changing operational priorities in a hybrid working environment.




• Basic IT or mobile device skills for completing job records, reports, or scheduling tasks.




• Previous experience in the motor trade or automotive services is beneficial but not essential; ongoing training will be provided.
