About Us

Assured Fire Safety Consultancy Ltd are a leading provider of fire safety solutions, committed to protecting lives and property through high-quality fire protection systems and services. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a knowledgeable Fire Risk Assessor to join our expanding team. This role is based from our modern office in Fleet, with site work across London, Hampshire, Surrey & Berkshire. You will be responsible for identifying potential fire hazards, evaluating existing safety measures and delivering practical, compliant recommendations to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct RRFSO:2005 Fire Risk Assessments in accordance with PAS79
  • Carry out Type 1 to 4 assessments, up to National Tier 3 standard for complex buildings.
  • Assist in the development of Fire Strategies.
  • Prepare detailed, high quality reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for clients.
  • Stay updated on current fire safety legislation and best practices to ensure assessments are in line with legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance on the design and build of fire safety systems to ensure optimal protection against fire risks.

Requirements

  • Nationally recognised qualification in Fire Risk Assessing (Ofqual, ABBE or NEBOSH FC1 & FC2)
  • Ideally registered with IFSM, IFE or equivalent third-party accreditation body
  • NAFRAR registration (Foundation to Advanced Level) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and complex building assessments.
  • Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills
  • Proficient in fire safety system design principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
  • Confident using digital platforms for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Enhanced DBS (desirable – can be provided if required)
