Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Product Owner to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing implementation projects efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for coordinating crossâfunctional teams, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for a key strategic product, ensuring alignment with company strategy, customer needs, and market trends.
- Translate vision into actionable initiatives, prioritised backlogs, and measurable goals.
- Evaluate and adjust priorities regularly based on input from stakeholders, customer feedback, and evolving business needs.
- Manage and continuously groom the product backlog to ensure the right balance between new features, technical enhancements, and operational improvements.
- Ensure clear communication of backlog priorities to the development team.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to assess impact and prioritise initiatives that drive adoption and ROI.
- Facilitate and lead key Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standâups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Act as the voice of the customer and the business in discussions with technical teams, ensuring development efforts meet intended outcomes.
- Work closely with support and implementation teams to understand customer pain points and opportunities for innovation.
- Gather input from multiple departments and stakeholders to define detailed product requirements and user stories.
- Define clear and testable acceptance criteria to ensure all deliverables meet business and customer expectations.
- Support QA efforts by validating that delivered solutions meet requirements before release.
- Produce and maintain product specifications, user guides, process diagrams, and internal support documentation.
- Ensure documentation is kept up to date and is accessible to internal stakeholders and partners.
- Support internal training and onboarding related to new service features or enhancements.
- Analyse product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for service improvement.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Drive innovation through customer insights, data analysis, and exploration of new technologies or delivery models.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner.
- Experience within the data protection, backup, or cybersecurity industry would be an advantage, but is not a necessity.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practical experience working with development teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions based on business impact.
- Experience defining requirements, writing user stories, and creating acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency with product management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong problemâsolving skills and analytical thinking.
- A passion for customer experience, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline.
Environment Job Requirements
- This position may require travel, expected to be less than 20%.
