QC Microbiologist - 3 month contract in Nottingham

A GMP facility operating within a highly regulated clinical manufacturing environment is seeking an Interim QC / Microbiology expert to support inspection readiness (GMP) and strengthen its microbiology function.

This is a discreet appointment within a small, technically focused organisation preparing for regulatory GMP inspection with the MHRA.

Key Focus Areas

• Supporting aseptic operations, including Aseptic Process Simulations
• Environmental monitoring and microbiology oversight
• Review and development of QC systems and documentation ahead of inspection
• Protocol development and technical compliance
• Supporting and upskilling internal staff to ensure long-term operational resilience

Ideal candidate

• Background in QC and microbiology within GMP environments
• Experience supporting inspection readiness and aseptic operations
• Practical, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating in a small facility
