As our client expands their engineering team, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Marine Engineer to join their team. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service, repair, and installation work across various vessels: Mechanical Expertise: Diagnose faults and perform routine servicing, maintenance, and installations on both outboard and inboard engines (petrol and diesel). Systems Management: Install, maintain, and upgrade essential boat systems, including propulsion, steering, generators, fuel, hydraulics, water, and low-voltage electrical systems. Quality & Reporting: Work diligently to stringent safety and quality standards. Provide accurate time estimates, manage parts requirements, and complete clear, comprehensive engineer reports. Customer Focus: Uphold the company\’s high standards of workmanship and exceptional customer care. About You We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to quality and safety: Experience: A background in leisure marine engineering is preferred Skills: Demonstrable strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities are essential.
