Overview

We are searching for a Registered Manager for our children’s home in Hedge End, Hampshire for a role that requires leadership in residential childcare provision.

Responsibilities

• Offer leadership and management to a diverse residential care team that strives towards excellence in residential childcare, aligned with the home’s statement of purpose.
• Manage and provide a safe, warm, caring and stable environment for the children and young people in care, creating a respectful culture.
• Lead and motivate the team to ensure the highest quality of care, working alongside agencies and families to meet the needs of each child/youth.
• Develop an effective workforce strategy, including safe rota, recruitment, induction, supervision and professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in a residential setting, preferably in a senior or management role.
• Passionate, confident, with strong relationship management skills.
• NVQ 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or being worked towards) or higher, and a valid driving licence.

Licence/Certification

• Driving licence (preferred)
• NVQ level 5 in Health & Social Care or Residential Childcare (required)

In person – Hedge End, Hampshire, United Kingdom

Pay: £46,125.00 per year

Interview Location

All interviews will be held in Shirley, Southampton, SO16
