Risk Manager, UK Crewe, Cheshire; hybrid remote/in-office, Flexible opportunities available The Opportunity Reporting to the Risk Director, UK you will support the development, embedding, management and reporting on Assurant’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. You Will Conduct and manage a program of regular risks assessments with all areas of the business; Conduct quantitative and qualitative stress and scenario testing for main risks to Assurant’s strategic goals Oversee, challenge and document Risk Issues and Events, working with the business to ensure appropriate resolution; Organisation of the UK Management Risk Committee; Support the production of the annual Own Risk and Solvency Assessments required under regulation. Support the Risk Position input to regulatory returns, including the Solvency and Financial Condition Reports (SFCRS), statutory returns and Regular Supervisory Reports (RSRs). Support the execution and seek improvements of risk management tools and methodologies, ensuring that they support our needs and are practical in application Ensure the accuracy of information within the Risk Register and the Issues and Event log, ensuring they remain current and appropriate to Assurant’s risk environment and marketplace, through regular risk exposure monitoring; Assisting and supporting the Risk team in the setting and monitoring of Risk Appetite, tolerances and limits; Supporting risk reporting delivery to Assurant committees and external bodies, by providing executive summary reports on the status of the risks and controls, data analysis, benchmarking research, statistical and exception reporting; Embed and further refine awareness of risk within Assurant’s culture, including providing awareness briefs and ensuring relevant training is prepared and provided to the business; Ensuring that the documentation for the Risk Framework is maintained, reviewed and recommending improvements as appropriate. Co-operate with other governance functions within Assurant (Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk and Control Owners within the areas) to provide a coordinated approach to managing risk within the organisation You Have Risk Management experience within Financial Services / insurance.
