Salary: £35,037 – £40,876 per annum (depending on experience, plus a London Weighting Allowance prorated as applicable)

Contract: Fixed term contract to 31 March 2027

The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) has opportunities for two Policy Officers to work with our busy team at the heart of Westminster in 2026-27 to help deliver the Police Efficiency and Collaboration Programme (PECP). PECP is a major government programme which aims to realise cashable efficiencies for policing in England and Wales over the next three financial years. This will be achieved through a series of different workstreams covering data reform, commercial efficiencies, enabling services and productivity.

About the APCC:

The APCC is the national membership organisation representing Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs), deputy mayors and other local policing bodies. We work across England and Wales to support PCCs to provide national leadership and drive strategic change in policing, criminal justice and community safety, operating in the public interest.

Location: We balance working in our Westminster office with working remotely. The organisation supports flexible work although some attendance in London would be required.
