Your new role involves overseeing and managing the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns to ensure accurate and timely filing. You will develop and implement tax strategies to minimise tax liabilities and optimise tax benefits for clients. It is essential to ensure compliance with all UK tax laws and regulations, including monitoring changes in tax legislation and advising on their impact. You will coordinate and manage tax audits and enquiries from HMRC, provide guidance and support to the finance team and clients on tax-related matters, and collaborate with external tax advisors and consultants as needed. Additionally, you will prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements, conduct tax research and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives, and mentor and develop junior tax staff, providing training and career development opportunities.
What you’ll need to succeed: QBE, ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified. Experience working in another Professional Services environment within Private Client, Personal or Corporate Tax.
What you’ll get in return: 30 days annual leave, plus birthday day off and an annual volunteering day. A 35 hour week, with an Agile hybrid working policy. Core hours between 9.30 and 4pm, with remote working allowed three days a week. 5% Employer Pension Contributions. Up to £55,000. Free Parking.
