An opportunity to join Shogun Audio, one of the most established label groups operating within the Drum & Bass world. Brands Shogun Audio, Elevate Records, Temple Publishing and EST Studios are world leaders in their respective fields and looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant to join their growing team.

The Role

  • In conjunction with the Label and Marketing team assisting with communicating campaign timelines and plans with artists, managers, and key stakeholders
  • Responsible for supplying and liasing with artists, managers, and key stakeholders with marketing
    assets and information
  • Responsible for collecting and maintaining visual assets and information for use across our websites, social media and emails
  • Organising and managing the accurate and organised record keeping and filing of marketing assets within our cloud-sharing services.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of posts via social media management software
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance and uploads of our D2C platforms such as YouTube Shopify, Bandcamp and Soundcloud
  • Managing the collection and reporting of data/stats relating to social media and email marketing and DSP performance.
  • Assisting at live events and content days
  • General support at label events as required.
  • Other duties assigned by the Head of Operations or Managing Director

Education & Experience

  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing environment.
  • Degree in Marketing or Business Studies or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Editorial experience and/or excellent copywriting skills

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Shogun Audio brands, drum & bass the electronic music industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their audience (TikTok, Facebook , Instagram , YouTube, Twitter etc.)
  • Desire and ability to partner and collaborate closely with internal and external teams.
  • A D&B fanatic with a passion for music and visual arts
  • Proactive attitude and ability to independently solve challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and a drive to succeed in new challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with many different departments/personalities.
  • Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access ).

Other Requirements:

  • Available to travel when required
  • Able to work in the Brighton office at least 2 days a week
  • Able to work remotely when required.
