Salary: £19,205.16 pro‑rata pa (£27,427.40 pa, full‑time equivalent)
Hours: 49 over two weeks (average 24.5 hours per week)

Mayhew is a trusted animal welfare charity working across the UK, Afghanistan and Georgia. We provide veterinary care, rescue and rehoming services, and community programmes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work flexibly in a team environment, often independently, to meet the specific needs of dogs and cats in our care by helping with their feeding, cleaning, exercise, training and grooming.
- Assist in the provision of treatment to dogs and cats in our clinic.
- From time to time, help with taking in new dogs and cats into our care, rehoming and admin tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling dogs and cats and caring for them.
- A calm, compassionate, resilient and friendly manner.
