The predicted salary is between 19205 - 19205 £ per year.

Location: London

Salary: £19,205.16 pro‑rata pa (£27,427.40 pa, full‑time equivalent)

Hours: 49 over two weeks (average 24.5 hours per week)

Contract Type: Permanent

Mayhew is a trusted animal welfare charity working across the UK, Afghanistan and Georgia. We provide veterinary care, rescue and rehoming services, and community programmes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work flexibly in a team environment, often independently, to meet the specific needs of dogs and cats in our care by helping with their feeding, cleaning, exercise, training and grooming.
  • Assist in the provision of treatment to dogs and cats in our clinic.
  • From time to time, help with taking in new dogs and cats into our care, rehoming and admin tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling dogs and cats and caring for them.
  • A calm, compassionate, resilient and friendly manner.
