Provider Support Manager

Provider Support Manager

Full-Time On-site
Association of Colleges

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Association of Colleges (AoC) as a Provider Support Manager within our new Technical and Vocational Professional Development (TVPD) programme.

The TVPD programme is an externally funded programme delivered by AoC on behalf of the Department for Education. It supports the further education sector with technical and vocational professional development, including activity linked to TVE Hubs, provider engagement, regional networks, employer collaboration and evidence-informed practice.

This is a key role supporting the effective delivery of a high-profile national programme. Working closely with the Strategic Lead, Professional Development Manager and wider programme team, you will oversee provider support activity, ensuring organisations receive consistent, high-quality support that enables them to successfully plan and implement curriculum and qualification reforms.

As Provider Support Manager, you will manage provider engagement, performance monitoring and quality assurance processes using evidence and data to identify emerging themes, risks and areas for improvement. You will work collaboratively with delivery partners to ensure support is responsive to provider needs and aligned to programme priorities.

You will also lead the delivery of provider and sector networks, helping to create opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing and the dissemination of effective practice. Working alongside colleagues across AoC and external partners, you will contribute to programme reporting, evaluation and continuous improvement activities.

We are looking for someone with experience working within the further education and skills sector at an operational management level. You will have a strong understanding of technical and vocational education, curriculum change and qualification reform, together with experience of planning and managing support across multiple organisations, regions or workstreams.

You will be a confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to use evidence to inform decision-making will be essential.

The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, adaptability and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and to the values and mission of AoC and the further education sector, is also important.

This is a full-time, permanent role.

The role is hybrid and will operate from a home base with occasional travel to attend meetings, networks and events where required.

At AoC, we value trust, flexibility and professional growth. You will join a high-performing, mission-led organisation that offers generous benefits, flexible working, and opportunities to develop your career while making a positive impact on the further education community.
