Business Mentoring is becoming an increasingly recognised profession - and the quality, standards and people behind the learning matter more than ever. That’s why we’re looking for a Training & Quality Lead (Part-Time – 3.5 days per week) to join the Association of Business Mentors (ABM) Training Centre at an exciting stage of growth. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the quality, delivery and future development of professional business mentoring programmes that support business mentors across the UK.
This role will suit someone comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy, who enjoys balancing operational delivery with quality standards and continuous improvement in a professional learning environment. Working closely with the Head of Training Centre, you will combine operational coordination, quality assurance and programme support to help ensure our training provision is robust, scalable and impactful.
The Role
- Coordinating and supporting freelance trainers, course designers and associates
- Leading quality assurance processes, including ILM standards and IQA activity
- Leading the management and quality of our Canvas learning environment and e-learning programmes
- Deputising for the Head of Training Centre when required
- Contributing to programme development and continuous improvement
- Designing/delivering training where appropriate and capacity allows
About You
- Background in mentoring, coaching and professional development
- Experience designing and delivering training
- Highly organised with strong attention to quality and professional standards
- Collaborative and comfortable working in a growing organisation
- ILM Level 5 or 7 in coaching and mentoring
- Assessment/IQA experience
- Canvas or LMS experience
Salary - £50,000 p.a. (FTE)
Home-based (UK)
28 hours per week (flexible)
Occasional travel including London meetings
