About the role

The role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Partnerships Manager to play a critical role in the next growth phase of the ABM. We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Senior Partnerships Manager to build and manage national and regional partnerships with organisations that support local businesses, including: Growth Hubs, Chambers of Commerce, Universities, regional arms of national business support bodies, local authorities, coaching bodies and other mission led business support organisations. The role will also support the ABM's vision for mentoring within the workplace, building relationships with SMEs and large firms to deliver high quality mentoring and coaching programmes.

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships & Strategy, this role will be responsible for developing partnerships that drive membership growth, mentoring and coaching adoption including through training, programme delivery and long-term collaboration. This will be the ABM's first full time Senior Partnerships Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving partnerships for long-term commercial gain
  • Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships
  • Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Drive membership uptake, training adoption and programme delivery
  • Map the UK business support landscape and identify opportunities
  • Represent ABM at regional and national events
  • Collaborate internally to ensure partnerships deliver value

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience developing strategic and commercial partnerships
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong track record in building commercial pipelines
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience with the UK's business support landscape (regional and national)
  • Knowledge of mentoring and business support
