National Children’s Orchestras (NCO) empowers children to experience the joy of orchestral music and develop skills for life. We are seeking a Programme and Orchestras Manager to join our Administrative Team and lead the planning, organisation, and delivery of NCO’s Days and Wider Access and Partnership programmes.

We are looking for someone to manage and deliver projects including Orchestral Days, Schools Concerts, Student Placements, Side by Side Projects, and Audience Development initiatives. They will also support the annual programme of auditioned activity alongside the existing Orchestra Managers.

The role involves delivering activity across the UK, with evening, weekend, and school holiday working required, and contributing to the creative development and long-term planning of NCO activity. This role offers the opportunity to shape inspiring orchestral experiences for young musicians across the UK and contribute to the organisation’s wider access and engagement initiatives. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented backgrounds.
