The Royal College of Music (RCM) is a world leading music conservatoire with a prestigious history and contemporary outlook. Our excellence was recognised by the 2026 QS World University Rankings, in which we were ranked No. 1 in the UK and Europe and second globally for Music and Performing Arts. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, efficient and experienced Events and Alumni Coordinator to join us as we grow and develop our supporter and alumni engagement offer.

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will work as part of a small team responsible for delivering supporter cultivation and stewardship, fundraising and alumni engagement events to high standards.
  • They will be responsible for coordinating, planning and delivering the Development and Alumni Engagement events offering, and working with colleagues to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of all events with a professional, considerate approach and exceptional customer service.
  • The post holder will also support the small Events team in the growing Venue Hire business.

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have impeccable organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work well on concurrent projects and to deadlines.

  • This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and is immediately available.
  • Job reference number: 401-26.
  • Salary: Grade 6, £34,350 - £37,968 per annum. Appointments will normally be made to the first point of the grade.
