Job Description

We are looking for a qualified dispensing optician to support our optometrists. We welcome applications for newly qualified or experienced individuals.

Responsibilities Include

Carrying out dispensing role to a high standard. Maintaining an up to date knowledge of lenses and frames.

All your dispensing skills will be needed from taking measurements, fittings, adjustments, repairs, checking and ordering.

Dealing with reps so we have the most up to date frames for our patients.

As a practice we are keen to encourage and support colleagues wishing to further develop their skills. There will be the opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills to specialise further.

We are a well established Independent practice with a patient centred focus looking for someone with excellent people skills, good technical expertise plus a flare for style and eyewear fashion. Also a caring approach that helps retain our loyal patients and a good communicator are essential.

Monday - Friday 9.00-5.30 Saturday 9.00 - 3.00 Day off through the week with Saturdays off on rota
