Dispensing optician, home-based

We’re looking for a qualified Dispensing optician to join our domiciliary team in a home-based sales role. After our opticians carry out eye examinations in care homes and residents’ own homes, you’ll follow up by phone with patients and/or their next of kin to talk through the results, explain any recommendations or referrals, and – where spectacles or other optical products are advised – finalise and confirm the sale. This is a telephone-based consultation and sales role rather than a bench-dispensing post, so we’re looking for someone who’s just as confident on the phone as they are with clinical dispensing knowledge.

Location

Office 33 Imex Centre, 575-599 Maxted Rd, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7DX. This is a fully remote position, so you’ll need a quiet, professional space to work from home and a reliable internet connection.
