As a qualified dispensing optician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and developing the high clinical and dispensing standards that Aves Opticians & Hearing Care has become known for over more than 100 years on Epping High Street. We have built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional dispensing care, including paediatric dispensing, complex prescriptions, and supporting patients referred from local hospital eye services, as well as those with more complex visual needs.

This is a role where you will be encouraged to fully utilise and develop your professional skills. You’ll have the opportunity to exercise your dispensing expertise on a daily basis, working closely with patients to find the most appropriate optical solutions. From complex lens recommendations and bespoke frame selections to solving challenging visual requirements, you’ll be trusted to use your knowledge, judgement, and experience to achieve the best outcomes for every patient.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and is passionate about providing the highest standards of ophthalmic dispensing. This is an exciting time to join Aves Opticians & Hearing Care. We are currently undertaking a refurbishment of the practice, both inside and out, while continuing to invest in new services, technology, and patient care.

As an independent practice, we are agile, ambitious, and always looking for ways to improve. This means you’ll have a genuine opportunity to make your mark. Our frame selection includes Lindberg, Moscot, Tom Ford, Face à Face, and Maui Jim. Our lens portfolio includes Rodenstock B.I.G. Exact Sensitive lenses. We have three consulting rooms. We are a team of seven. The role may require some Saturday working. No Sundays or bank holidays. Our standard appointment times are 40 minutes.
