Brockham Choral Society is seeking a Musical Director to start from September 2025. We are a non-auditioning choir based in Dorking, Surrey, and present 3 concerts a year, mostly in St Martin’s Church, Dorking, and often with an orchestra and/or professional soloists, though from time to time we present a cafe-style informal concert with a lighter repertoire. The choir has 65 members and rehearses on Tuesday evenings from September to June.

The main job of the MD is to continue developing the musical abilities and potential of the choir, ensuring that our music-making is a joyful experience, and leading us to new works while continuing to perform some of the established classical works.

The closing date is Friday 28 February 2025, with interviews in Dorking in the week beginning 24 March, and auditions on the evenings of 15 and 22 April.
