About the role
As a Senior Programme Officer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing programmes that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that programmes meet their goals efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Programme management leads and coordinates the development, implementation, and monitoring of projects within the programme portfolio.
- Stakeholder engagement builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, donors, and partner organizations.
- Strategic planning contributes to the strategic direction of programmes, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Monitoring & evaluation track programme performance, measure impact and provide reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Budget & resource management oversee financial planning, ensure cost-effective use of resources, and manage grants or funding.
- Policy & advocacy support policy development and advocacy efforts relevant to the programme’s focus areas.
- Team leadership supervise junior programme staff and coordinate cross-functional teams as needed.
