About the role

The Project Manager\’s role is to work collaboratively in the implementation of the FIGO LDI Reach program, to deliver on time and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure the final months of the program are completed and a smooth close-out process is undertaken across all countries.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Initiation:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resources.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Identify key stakeholders and establish communication channels.

Team Coordination and Leadership:

  • Assemble and manage project teams, assigning tasks based on expertise.
  • Ensure clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide motivation, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Track expenses and make necessary financial adjustments.
  • Optimize resource utilization to prevent wastage.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and address issues proactively.
  • Adjust project plans based on changing conditions.
  • Troubleshoot challenges and find effective solutions.

Stakeholder Management and Communication:

  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and executives.
  • Provide regular updates through reports, meetings, and presentations.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.
  • Ensure transparency in project progress and decision-making.

Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish quality standards for project deliverables.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to ensure compliance.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and team members.
  • Implement process improvements based on performance assessments.

Project Execution and Delivery:

  • Ensure all tasks and activities are executed according to plan.
  • Monitor progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Manage changes and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Deliver the final product or service within scope, budget, and time constraints.

Project Closure and Evaluation:

  • Conduct post-project reviews to analyze successes and challenges.
  • Document lessons learned for future projects.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met.
  • Celebrate project success and acknowledge team efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree
