We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Business Analysis & Change Management Lead who is passionate about delivering meaningful organisational change and improving how people, processes, and technology work together. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy solving complex business challenges, and take pride in ensuring change initiatives are clearly defined, user-centred, and successfully adopted across the organisation.

As part of our Technology team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering AAT’s transformation agenda by leading our business analysis and change management capability, supporting projects, programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you be doing?

As our Business Analysis & Change Management Lead, you’ll work closely with business leaders, delivery teams, the PMO, and external partners to translate organisational needs into clear requirements, assess impacts, and enable sustainable change. You’ll lead both hands-on business analysis activities and change management approaches, ensuring solutions are practical, usable, and deliver lasting value for our colleagues and customers.

  • Lead the definition and documentation of business requirements, user needs, and process changes across strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, prioritised, traceable, and aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Apply business analysis techniques including process mapping, user journeys, and impact assessments to support effective solution design.
  • Act as the senior business analyst on complex and high-impact projects.
  • Lead change management activities, ensuring impacts on people, processes, and ways of working are understood and addressed.
  • Develop and deliver change plans covering communications, engagement, training, readiness, and adoption activities.
  • Support leaders and managers to successfully embed change and reinforce new ways of working.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions across the organisation.
  • Act as a trusted interface between business stakeholders, Technology teams, delivery partners, and suppliers.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and quality assurance for business analysis and change activities.
  • Establish and maintain standards, templates, and best practice for business analysis and change management.
  • Work closely with the PMO to support governance, decision-making, and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Identify and manage risks relating to scope, business readiness, and change adoption.

What are we looking for?

  • Significant experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process improvement, and business change delivery.
  • Practical experience leading change management activities within organisational or technology transformation programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, including process mapping, user journeys, impact analysis, and requirements management.
  • Experience working within project, programme, product, or Agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience leading professional practice and providing quality assurance without direct line management responsibility.
  • Strong workshop design and facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of user-centred design, usability, accessibility, and adoption principles.
  • Professional qualification or equivalent experience in Business Analysis, Change Management, Organisational Change, or a related discipline.

We offer

  • Hybrid Working Model: 1–2 days per week in our Canary Wharf office.
  • Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum, based on experience.

Why join AAT?

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how business change is delivered across AAT. You’ll have the chance to influence strategic initiatives, establish business analysis and change management best practice, and help ensure colleagues are supported through transformation that delivers real organisational value.
