Associated Veterinary Services is a busy export certification Veterinary Practice. We are a multiple award-winning business and pride ourselves on being a leader in the field. We certify for export pets and products of animal origin. We have an exciting opportunity for an additional Vet to become a member of our team.
Duties:
- Preparing and signing EHCs, checking requirements and certificates’ notes for guidance and current legislation, and gathering necessary supporting documents.
- Inspecting goods, integrity of packaging and labelling with the Certification Support Officer.
- Sending appropriate documentation to agreed timescales and emailing certified copies to all relevant parties.
- Establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with company’s team members and export customers.
- Understanding the export requirements of various species of pets to various countries, and administering vaccinations and treatments for compliance.
- Carrying out health checks to issue fit-to-travel or any other documents required for export from the UK.
- Being a proactive learner, open to direction and eager to contribute to a growing business.
Experience or basic knowledge in export certification is essential. Travel between export locations/clients will be needed. Managing Certification Support Officer will be part of the role.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional early start, late finish or weekend work may be required.
